Thailand Women made it seven ODI wins out of seven as they beat Zimbabwe by six wickets at TCG to win the series 3-0.
The home side bowled out the visitors for 112 in 38.5 overs as off spinner Nattaya Boochatham took 3 for 7 and left-arm spinner Thipatcha Putthawong claimed 3 for 21 as Thailand’s spin bowling again proved dominant.
Nattakan Chantam hit five fours in her 22 but it was captain Naruemol Chaiwai who saw her side home in 27.2 overs with her second unbeaten fifty of the series. She was named player of the match and player of the series.
Thailand won by six wickets with 22.4 overs to spare to complete a wonderful series victory for the Thai girls.
The two teams now turn to T20 cricket and a four match series which will be played on 25, 26, 28 and 29 April.
