CAT Level 1 Umpiring Course , Phuket, August 2011

CAT continues to build its pool of umpires as cricket spreads into more regions and to support the growing number of boys and girls introduced to cricket. CAT is hosting a Level 1 Umpiring Course in Phuket from the 12th to 14th of August 2011. The course consists of 15 participants who will be given a complete overview of all the cricket laws, an umpire’s responsibilities and duties. The course will be run and educated by Mr. David Walker, Mr. Mohideen A. Kader and Mr. Richard Folds. The participants will be also be put in game scenarios for practical understanding and disciplines of an umpire. These new umpires will further stand in small local matches, and leagues in their respective provinces building standards.
