THAILAND WOMEN’S T20 SMASH 2019 DAY FIVE ROUND UP

The group stages of the Thailand Women’s T20 Smash have now been concluded with Nepal topping Group A with four wins out of four as they defeated Thailand A by nine wickets after bowling them out for just 19. Thailand headed Group B, also winning all four of their matches, as they beat Bhutan by 10 wickets after Onnicha Kamchomphu returned figures of 4 for 6 in her 4 overs. There were also wins for Malaysia and Hong Kong as they finished third in their groups each with two victories in four matches. The main semi-finals will now see Nepal face Indonesia while Thailand will play UAE, while in the play-offs for 5th to 8th places Malaysia will face Myanmar while Hong Kong play Thailand A.
