The fourth match of the T20I series between Thailand Women and Netherlands Women would decide whether Thailand would win the series or if honours would be shared depending on the result and it was Thailand who confirmed they were  the stronger side as they won by 31 runs after a much more positive batting performance carried them to126 for 8 their highest total in the series.
Netherlands won the toss and asked Thailand to bat first and the home side made a poor start as they lost both openers in single figures to leg-spinner Caroline de Lange. Sornnarin Tippoch was promoted to number 3 and hit four boundaries in her 23 from just 13 balls as she shared a partnership of 41 with Naruemol Chaiwai in less that 4 overs in the most positive spell of batting of the series.
Naruemol also found the boundary regularly as she made 47 from 45 balls with eight fours and this allowed the batters at the other end to go for their shots. Nattaya Boochatham was the only other player to reach double figures but her 12 from 8 balls with 2 fours helped to take Thailand to 126 for 8 in 20 overs.
Netherlands needed to make their highest score of the series to level the four match series but they had chased successfully in the second match. They were going well with the fifty coming up in the 11th over with one wicket down thanks to Heather Siegers and Sterre Kallis but Sornnarin dismissed the Netherlands captain for 28 from 29 balls with 3 fours and a sixe and this left things down to Kalis but she could not keep up with the required rate and was finally out for 39 from 46 balls with 4 fours.
Netherlands were restricted to 95 for 6 as the five spinners shared 6 wickets and none of them conceded more than five runs an over. Thailand had clinched the T20I series by three matches to one to add to their 4-0 victory in the ODI series. Netherlands had gained their consolation victory in the second T20I and the margins of victory for Thailand were lower in the T20 cricket than in the longer form of the game. Naruemol Chaiwai was named player of the match.
