THAILAND GO FOR GOLD ON MONDAY

Thailand made sure of their place in the gold medal match for women's cricket at the SEA Games as they gained their third successive win by beating Singapore by 132 runs. Thailand scored 162 for 5 as Sirintra Saengsakaorat hit her second fifty of the competition. Singapore could manage only 30 in reply as Wongpaka Liengsprasert recorded figures of 4 for 8. Thailand will go for gold on Monday 28th August.
