SORNNARIN TIPPOCH ANNOUNCES HER RETIREMENT FROM CRICKET

First and foremost, I would to thank the sport of Cricket, Mr. Mohideen Kader, all the coaches that have helped me along the way and the Cricket Association of Thailand in helping me achieve my dream of representing Thailand as an athlete and being able to bring fame and recognition to my country and family.
A special mention of thanks to all my teammates, past and present, throughout my 16-year career. We have endured and persevered through tough times and have come out the other side fighting to celebrate incredible victories, both in sport and in life. I am grateful to have shared the field with all of you and everyone of you hold a special place in my heart.
The biggest achievement in my career is being able to lead my team and country to the World Cup in Australia. Even though we struggled to find our feet at times, it was still an amazing experience that will always remain clear and vivid in my mind and in my heart.
Today, I am officially announcing my retirement as a cricket player. I am extremely honored and privileged to have been able to wear the Thailand colors with pride and passion.
I will now be playing my part in Thailand’s cricket development as a coach and mentor. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences to inspire the new generation of Thai Cricketers.

ก่อนอื่นต้องขอขอบคุณ กีฬาคริกเก็ต, คุณกาเดอร์, โค้ชทุกคน และสมาคมกีฬาคริกเก็ตแห่งประเทศไทย ที่ทำให้น้อยเป็นคนที่ถือว่าประสบความสำเร็จในสิ่งที่ฝันไว้ คือ การเป็นนักกีฬาทีมชาติ เป็นตัวแทนคนไทยทำหน้าที่ในฐานะนักกีฬาทีมชาติไทย ได้มีโอกาสเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันในรายการต่างๆ สร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับประเทศไทยและครอบครัว

สิ่งสำคัญเลยอยากขอบคุณเพื่อนร่วมทีมทุกๆคน ที่อยู่ร่วมกัน ตลอดระยะเวลา 16 ปีที่ผ่านมาเจอเรื่องราวเยอะแยะมากมายมาด้วยกัน ทั้งสุขและทุกข์ ผ่านอุปสรรคมากมายร่วมกันมา มันมีความหมายมากจริงๆสำหรับชีวิตของน้อย

และสิ่งที่ประสบความสำเร็จที่สุดในการเล่นคริกเก็ตสำหรับน้อยคือ การพาทีมไปเวิร์ดคัพ ได้เล่นกับทีมระดับโลก ถึงแม้ว่าเวทีนั้นเราจะไม่ได้ประสบผลสำเร็จอย่างที่เราตั้งเป้าไว้ แต่มันคือประสบการณ์ล้ำค่าที่พวกเราไม่สามารถลืมความรู้สึกนั้นได้เลย

บทบาทของการเป็นนักกีฬาคริกเก็ตทีมชาติไทยคงสิ้นสุดตรงนี้ น้อยภูมิใจในตัวเองและทีมมากๆ คงจะคิดถึงที่ตรงนี้มากๆเช่นกัน ขอบคุณจริงๆค่ะ

บทบาทต่อไปนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งสิ่งที่น้อยตั้งเป้าหมายไว้ในชีวิตคือการเป็นโค้ชให้กับคริกเก็ต น้อยอยากพัฒนานักกีฬา สร้างนักกีฬาให้กับสมาคม เผยแพร่กีฬาคริกเก็ตให้เป็นที่แพร่หลายในไทยมากขึ้น อยากใช้ความรู้ความสามรถและประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับมาตลอดระยะเวลา 16 ปี นำมาถ่ายทอดและพัฒนาให้คริกเก็ตของเราเป็นที่รู้จักและไปได้ไกลยิ่งขึ้น
