THAILAND MAKE THEIR HIGHEST ODI TOTAL
Thailand Women can no longer qualify for the next World Cup as they suffered their third defeat in the Qualifier held in Lahore.
Thailand had the consolation of making their highest total in ODIs as they made 259 against Ireland but still lost by 46 runs as the Irish hit 305 for 4 in 50 overs.
Naruemol Chaiwai and Phannita Maya added 90 for the fifth wicket before Suwanan Khiaoto hit her first 50 in ODIs as Thipatcha Putthawong helped her add 71 for the eighth wicket to bring up the 250.
Thailand still have day / night matches against Pakistan and West Indies at the Gaddafi Stadium to come which will be a great experience for the girls.
