THAILAND WOMEN OFF TO FLYING START IN SEA GAMES

Thailand Women are favorites to win gold medals in the cricket competitions in the SEA Games in Cambodia while the men were hopeful of winning medals as well.

Thailand Women have made an excellent start to claiming the T20 gold they won in 2017  by bowling out Philippines for just 9 runs and needing 4 balls to reach victory by 10 wickets.

The men didn’t fare as well as they lost to Indonesia by 32 runs in their first T20 match. Both teams are also scheduled to play  in 50 over and T10 events.

Player of the day was left-arm spinner Thipatcha Putthawong who had figures of 4-2-3-4 for the women.
