THAILAND MEN MISS OUT ON SECOND BRONZE

Thailand lost to Indonesia by 4 wickets in the play-off for the bronze medal in the men's 20 over cricket at the SEA Games. Thailand are better suited to the 50 over game when they beat Indonesia by 179 runs. A total of 96 for 7 rarely wins a T20 match and so it proved as the Indonesians went for their shots and won with three overs to spare. Thailand deserved their bronze in 50 over cricket but progress needs to be made in the shorter form of the game.
